The Pines Country Club is a member of the United States Golf Association. Working with the USGA, the club offers a modern, computerized handicap system. There is an active junior golf program and a well-stocked pro shop at the club. The club pro, PGA Professional Russell Reid, has been recognized as the number one teacher in West Virginia by Golf Digest Magazine.
