Positive Spin will be at this month’s Morgantown Mutual Aid fair on June 11th!

Free bike we fixed up! It’s on the bike rack in front of Positive Spin. Feel free to come back for future repairs.

This week we gave out these kids some helmets and provided free tune-up help! Two of them plan on coming back and volunteering. Positive Spin also showed up for the Morgantown Mutual Aid Fair, and gave out two free tubes and lended a tool so someone could tighten up their handlebars.

At the bike rack next Positive Spin, we have left this bike out here to be taken for free! It has not been fixed, but it can be taken for parts.

Yesterday was a big day for us - we gave away four bikes, and earlier last week we donated another one to the Eastwood Elementary School Wellness Event for their raffle. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.

Spring is here, and we’re hoping to get a lot of bikes into new homes this month. If you’ve been thinking about visiting, now’s the perfect time to stop by and find an epic deal.

And a quick note: we’ve bumped our opening time to 5:20 PM.

Positive Spin’s first time at the Morgantown mutual aid fair was a success! We helped out one person with their bike by lubing their chain, filling their tires with air, and gave them two tubes. We plan on repairing bikes regularly at the mutual aid fairs, so stay tuned for more from us!

Another bike stolen, this time from Brian, who is unhoused.

We gave Brian this bike last week to help him get around town, and he was thrilled. It gave him a bit of freedom, dignity, and joy. Sadly, it was stolen just one day later, right outside the Police Department.

If you see a bike matching this description or hear anything, please let us know. The community came through last time, and we’re hoping for that same magic again.
