Yep we are still here!!! Been almost a month since our last post. Only thing winning is mother nature with all our rain outs this month. A little update though as the season is winding down. We sit 17 points back from 1st and 2 nights plagued us this year. Lost a coil early in the year and ran the car on 3 cylinders finishing outside the top 10 and our last night of racing we missed qualifying and showed up late due to a recent job roll I took on that requires me to be a little more present. We are back at it this Friday for double features to help make up some rain outs. We will see where everything falls as we start closing out the season.

Let's go!!! It's a hot one right now but finally temperatures are dipping into the upper 70's later today. Should be a great night for racing.

Well she is definitely getting her battle scars. Finished P4 after starting almost dead last. Got as high as 3rd through out the race but just couldn't fight. We lost power steering around lap 20 of 250. The first half (125 laps) on the oval wasn't to bad but 2nd half on the chicane course about killed me. These Acura TSX's do not have a generous rack and pinion when you lose power steering. Final lap I got Neon-ed by some youngster in his first race ever. Pushed me into a tractor tire. Lots of work to get done by September for our next Enduro.

Star and Stripes 250 Enduro...let's bring home a good finish today.

No updates from last week because the driver can't get his crap together lately. Struggling with the car recently and working through them.

Yes...we are racing on a rare Thursday evening. 4 cylinder Pure Stocks are a support class tonight for the Super Late Model Star Spangled Summer Bash 100. Stay hydrated everyone.

Grundy County Results 6/19&20

Double header weekend was filled with ups and downs. Double feature night and On Track Autograph night we finished 3rd in the first feature and 16th in the second feature, after losing a coil pack. Qualified like garbage due to a change I made in the car but went back on adjustments for the features. Saturday we qualified 2nd and 4th in the feature. Struggling a bit to find better handling this year. Was able to see our banners hung up under the grandstand and got my weekly hug and kiss from the one and only Todd "Moose" Snow. Our division is off for this weekend as we get ready for our Special Thursday Night July 2nd race. See you all in a few weeks and I hear you boo birds. Haha

Double header weekend at Grundy County Speedway. Weather is looking awesome for the weekend. Tonight is a great night to bring the kiddos. On track autograph party filled with a night of double features in each division. Tomorrow brings the rescheduled Six Pack Shootout event that was rained out last week.
