Scotty Gardner and Clay Curts are set to run five features this weekend! They'll start off in the NASCAR Mid Ams on Friday Night for Twin 25 Lap Features before running Triple 30's on Saturday in the Super Late Models!

Saturday Night we pay tribute to one of the best to ever do it Larry Schuler with the Junk Yard Dog Triple 30's presented by Rod Baker Ford!

2026 NASCAR Mid Ams Feature Wins List

The NASCAR Mid Ams have had some stout competition throughout the 2026 season. Through the first five races the only repeat winner is Kevin Murphy. Tomorrow Night the NASCAR Mid Ams will be back in action with Double Features. will we see another new winner or will be get another repeat winner? Be there tomorrow night to find out!

Reminder: All Super Cup teams
The track has made the decision to put restrictor plates on both of the Super Cup divisions. They are available right now and must be in place for this weekends races. If you haven't picked up your plate yet or made arrangements, please do so soon. The cost of the plate is $30 and you can reach out to Erik Heddins with the Midwest Super Cup Series to get one.

𝗚𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗥 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁

(Morris, IL) A massive holiday celebration of short track racing excitement is set for Thursday, July 2 as the “Star Spangled Summer Bash 100” headlines NASCAR Week action at Grundy County Speedway. The special Thursday night event will feature the third round of the Six Pack Super Late Model Summer Series along with Pure Stock and Midwest Pavement Midget competition in an action-packed one-day program promoted by Track Enterprises.

Fans can expect one of the strongest Super Late Model fields of the summer as teams battle under Grundy County / Midwest Tour unified Super Late Model rules in a 100-lap showdown paying $5,000 to win. With the summer racing season heating up and the holiday atmosphere surrounding the event, the Star Spangled Summer Bash 100 is expected to attract top competitors from throughout the Midwest. Full entry list will be released in the days leading up to the event.

The event will be a complete one-day show featuring practice, qualifying, and feature racing all on Thursday night. In addition to the headline Super Late Model division, fans will also enjoy exciting racing from the Pure Stocks and Midwest Pavement Midgets as part of a full evening of family entertainment during NASCAR Week festivities.

Pit gates will open at 2:00 PM with grandstands opening at 5:00 PM. Racing action is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM.

This Friday Night June 19th we'll host our first On Track Autograph Session of the season. Fans will have the chance to come onto the racetrack and meet and greet with their favorite drivers before they compete in Double Features!

The action kicks off on Friday June 19th with the fan favorite On Track Autograph Session plus it’s Double Features Night for the NASCAR Mid Ams, D’Arcy Motors NASCAR Street Stocks, Village Realty NASCAR Pure Stocks, Action Truck Parts Crown Vics and Super Cups.

Then on Saturday it's the rescheduled Junk Yard Dog Triple 30’s presented by Rod Baker Ford honoring long time competitor Larry Schuler. This race will serve as Race #2 of the Six Pack Summer Shootout Series for the Super Late Models. Also in action will be the Village Realty NASCAR Pure Stocks for Race #2 of their six race challenge series, Sixers and Super Cups.

Six Pack Rewind: Last time the Six Pack Summer Shootout Series was in action was Saturday May 9th for the Wayne Carter Classic. 19 cars were on hand for the Twin 50 Lap Features. Ricky Baker came home with the win in Feature #1 while Max Kahler won Feature #2. Kahler was also crowned the overall winner of the Wayne Carter Classic with a 2nd place in Feature #1 to go along with his Feature #2 Victory.

Last Time Super Lates Raced: Friday May 29th was the last time Super Late Models ran at the Grundy County Speedway. Caleb Adrian came home with the win in the 40 Lap Feature over DJ Weltmeyer, Larry Schuler, Ricky Baker and Eddie Hoffman.
