Congratulations to Warrior Within’s two new blue belts, Luke Sawyer and Dale Smith. Luke and Dale have put in a ton of time on the mats. They are first ones in and at every class, soaking up knowledge and sharpening their swords! They earned these blue belts! Give them some love when you see ‘em. They are committed to a tough thing!

What a day! We took 4 competitors over to Norton Shores for Saturday! We linked up with , our affiliate and got busy! Our team ended up 1st Overall, 1st Adult Gi, 1st Teen/Kids, and 2nd Nogi.
Warrior Within contributed with 2 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze amongst our 4 competitors! As a coach, a teammate, and a friend, I am incredibly proud of our team both as a whole and our group in Shepherd! We have trained hard together and will continue to do so!

Day 2 of training with the Isabella County Jail. We hosted two more practical jiujitsu sessions for them as a part of their regular training schedule. It was awesome to work through each of the scenarios with the officers and talk about the day to day situations they deal with.
We received great feedback from the sheriff and we hope to be back for more training in the future!
