The underhook is safer for Jiu Jitsu since you have a chance to land with the underhook and you are less likely to get rerolled by the momentum of the Harai and end up in side control bottom.

Jeon Ki Young 3 time Judo World Champion and Gold medalist at the 1996 Olympic Games.
When I was a teenager I came across his fighting films judo instructional and it totally changed my approach to Judo. I am grateful for the opportunity to share the mat with such a legend. 감사합니다
