Every tournament you learn something. Here is what we learned from the USA Underwater Rugby Nationals in Austin, TX. It was an excellent tournament!

🏆 Greetings to all our friends, families, and fans! What an incredible weekend at the US Nationals in Florida! The SF Giant Sea Bass kicked off strong, stunning the reigning champions, the New Jersey Hammerheads, with a solid 2-0 win in the group stage. 🐟⚽️

The climax came in the finals where we met the Hammerheads again. After maintaining a clean sheet throughout the tournament, the only goal we conceded was in the final match, tying the game at 1-1 and leading us into a thrilling penalty shootout. Unfortunately, we narrowly missed the top spot and claimed the silver medal.🥈

Celebrating the tournament's most goals scored and best defender awards, this year marks our best performance in over a decade. Congratulations to the entire team for their outstanding effort and sportsmanship! This single goal against us throughout the entire tournament is a testament to our team's strength and resilience. The SF Giant Sea Bass have truly set a high standard, and we're already looking forward to next year's competition.
