Welcome home Jarrett!

We’re super excited to officially bring one of our Alumni back home to work with our long sprint and relay teams. Jarrett attended Vallivue High School and was a valuable member of their track & field team where he excelled in sprints, particularly the 400 meter run and 4x400 meter relays, which events he also excelled in here at Spike Up Athletics.

Since graduating high school, Jarrett has gone on to coach for his Alma Mater. As a coach, Jarrett strives for the same level of excellence from himself that he asks of his athletes, always looking for ways to improve and perfect the details. This especially holds true when he coaches relays, believing that the smallest details can make a major difference in performance. One of his goals is to help continue our push to create a team culture where athletes push each other to be their best while genuinely enjoying being a part of our team.

Registration is Open!
Come and be a part of the Treasurer Valley’s premier track & field team this coming indoor season.

We also issue you a challenge: how many teammates from your school team can you get to join you? Get two or more athletes from your school team to come join you this season, and you’ll be entered into a raffle to win $200 dollars, paid by our founder! Just do the following:
1. Register yourself
2. Message us and give us the names of your school teammates that you expect to register
3. Follow this page
4. If you and two or more of your school teammates complete the indoor season, you will be issued 3 raffle tickets each for you and each of the teammates names that you gave us (for example, if you and two teammates complete our season, you will receive 9 raffle tickets), and we will hold our raffle the last week of the indoor season.

2026 USATF National Junior Olympics
Cerritos College, Norwalk, CA
7/26/27 - 8/2/26

USATF All-American honors were captured by Rebecca Carson.

Rebecca ran 11:22.28 to place 8th in the 3000m, women’s 17-18 age group.

This season was Rebecca’s first with Spike Up Athletics and we are so darn proud of her. She attends Vallivue High School in Caldwell, ID.

All-American alert! 🚨
Our newest all- American is Carson Hacking. He’s bringing home silver. Congratulations Carson on a fantastic finish to the summer season!

Carson placed 2nd in the 2000m Steeplechase, men’s 17-18 age group, clocking 6:27.84.

Move over Shedeur Sanders, there’s a new Mr. Legendary, and he lives in Idaho!

Congratulations to our very own Addison Thayer on making USATF All-American

Addison placed 7th in the Hammer Throw, women’s 17-18 age group, with a best throw 43.66m (143’ 2.75”).

Job well-done Addie! Boy, what a difference a couple of years can make when you’re dedicated to your craft! No more tears! All grown up!

They can poach, they know who they are, and tell athletes lies to make themselves look more attractive, but we’ll continue to reload. 549 entries for the Snake River Association Championships this weekend and 156 of those entries are Spike Up Athletics. We don’t take pride in having to toot our own horn, but the unethical practices of other clubs (they know who they are) gives us cause to start defending ourselves. Our roster continues to grow because we do things the right way, our coaches are just as good and knowledgeable as theirs, and if you want to be a part of us, we’ll always welcome you and your friends with open arms.
