Big thank you to everyone who came out for our Stars, Stripes, & Strength workout this morning 🇺🇸

Great energy. Great people. Great way to start Memorial Day.

We appreciate all of you more than you know ❤️

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Memorial Day is about far more than a long weekend. It’s a reminder to appreciate the freedoms, opportunities, and moments with the people we love that so many gave everything for.

We’re grateful for those who served, those we’ve lost, and the families who continue to carry that sacrifice every day.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day 🇺🇸

And if you’re joining us for our community workout this morning, we’re excited to spend part of the day together moving, connecting, and honoring the spirit of resilience and gratitude.

Most of the people we work with never considered themselves “gym people,” which is exactly why we created Beyond Measure to feel different from a typical gym environment.

No pressure. No intimidation. Just good people, good energy, and an opportunity to learn more about how we help adults feel stronger, healthier, and more confident again.

A lot of people think they need to:

get in shape first
know what they’re doing
feel confident before joining a gym
But honestly?

Most people who walk through our doors feel nervous at first.

They feel:

intimidated
unsure
out of place
And that’s okay.

That’s exactly why coaching matters.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start.

You just need a supportive place to begin.

Because sometimes the hardest part of the whole journey…

is simply walking through the door.

If you’ve ever felt nervous about joining a gym, you’re definitely not alone.

A lot of people assume an info call with a gym is going to feel:

-awkward
-high pressure
-uncomfortable

Honestly… ours is pretty simple.

It’s just a conversation.

A chance for us to:
✔ learn about your goals
✔ hear about past experiences or limitations
✔ answer your questions
✔ help you understand how we coach

And for you to decide whether this feels like the right fit for you.

If it does, the next step is our 1-on-1 Intro Session where we can meet in person, learn more about how your body moves, and help you feel comfortable getting started.

No pressure.
No intimidation.
No “you need to get in shape first.”

Just a supportive place to start.

What’s something you’d want to know before joining a gym?

If I was experiencing knee pain, I probably wouldn’t immediately stop squatting.

I’d first look at:

✔ ankle mobility
✔ hip mobility
✔ glute activation
✔ squat variation
✔ range of motion
✔ load and tolerance

Because sometimes the issue isn’t the movement itself…

It’s how we’re moving, how much we’re loading, or whether we’ve built the foundation to support it well.

That’s why good coaching matters.

Instead of automatically removing movements, we can often:

modify them
simplify them
build around them
and gradually progress over time

For a lot of people, movements like the TRX-assisted squat can be a great starting point while rebuilding confidence and tolerance.

The goal isn’t to push through pain.

The goal is to find an approach your body responds well to.

Have you ever experienced knee pain during squats?

🚨 PUBLIC APOLOGY TO COACH ANDY 🚨

Somehow despite Coach Andy being with us for SIX YEARS, we forgot to post his work anniversary on social media. 😅

But before anyone calls HR, we DID celebrate him in person all the way back in March with a special gift along with the other highest honor we could offer: a family-sized bag of his favorite Doritos. 🧡

In all seriousness, Andy does more for our gym than most people will ever see. From coaching sessions, supporting members, keeping the energy high, and making sure every person who walks through our doors feels encouraged to all the behind the scenes work that keeps this place running smoothly day after day.

He truly embodies every value we stand for:
✔️ Showing up consistently
✔️ Caring deeply about people
✔️ Leading with humility
✔️ Bringing positivity and accountability every single day

And yes… he is ALSO the mastermind behind many of those sneaky animal finishers.🐻

Andy, thank you for 6 incredible years of dedication, leadership, and heart. Our community is better because of you, even if our social media department is a little late to the party. 😂👏

Most people don’t struggle because they don’t care.

They struggle because consistency is hard when fitness feels:

intimidating
overwhelming
all-or-nothing

That’s why this line from Ben’s review stood out to us so much:

“This is the most consistent I’ve ever been.”

Not because he found the “perfect” workout…

But because he found:

supportive coaching
a welcoming community
a plan he could actually stick with

That’s what real progress is built on.

Not extremes.
Not perfection.

Just consistency, support, and momentum over time.

What do you think is the hardest part about staying consistent?
