Got the 80s AbuGarcia Ambassadeur 5000 running like new again! Got a little worried with the gears and assembly plate being as gunked up as they were but it came together nicer than I thought! Gonna try and find a good rod for her!

Gonna be working on this beauty in the next couple days! Keep a look out for the before and after pics!

Got a semi rare AbuGarcia Ambassadeur V5000 in as part of a trade and I gotta say! It’s the most well taken care of (internally) abu I’ve opened up! Even added a more flashy line guide I had lying around!

Got some goodies in the shop! Got this bone dry Shimano Corsair CS 300A working like new!!! Gotta love the simplicity in these tough as nails fishing reels!

From a bag of pieces, stuck thumb bars, and dislodged flipping switches & pinion gears. This customer order was a ton of fun challenges! All ready to go, greased, oiled, and ready for the water!

It’s high time I start working on an emblem for the business!! I just don’t know what it’s gonna look like!

Recently a customer gave me a 2006 Quantum Kinetic Pt30 (he aquired elsewhere) and was saying the anti reverse wasn’t working and it reeled slow and clunky. Tried to figure out why the anti reverse wasn’t engaging and kept slipping. Well whomever tried to take it apart last definitely put her back together wrong…I am surprised the reel even spun! The bearings and clutch were in such a disarray that the anti reverse clutch assembly couldn’t be retained with the retainer clip (which for some reason wasn’t even being used) Well an hour in the office and this 2006 reel is back to tournament ready! Proud of this little project!

Took this Vintage 1950 Bache Brown Mastereel Model 2B apart! Got the anti reverse spring and clutch fixed and everything re greased and she’s good as new (internally)! Gonna take her out on my next stream outing!
