Dinner Inspo of the week: Venison Baked Ziti ✨
Creamy Alfredo tossed ziti noodles topped with Italian Venison sausage, tomato sauce and mozzarella baked until golden and bubbly brown!
The inside of a gizzard always mesmerized me. James got his first Merriam’s in Colorado this last week and brought this gizzard home to dissect and save. Essentially these guys have their own “food mill”to help break down their food using a whole satchel of rocks they collect over time.

Sweet summer is approaching which means squash and zucchini season is approaching and I’m HERE FOR IT. We have a freezer full of fish for the first time in quite a while and a good plate of buttered rice, sautéed squash and blackened crappie makes for a perfect summer meal ✨
