ARE YOU TOUGH ENOUGH?

Our final performance will honor those who have been affected by cancer – those still in the battle, those families that have been through the ringer, those cancer survivors, etc. We wear pink on this day, and feel free to join us. Our last show is scheduled to feature a Utah world champion, ba****ck rider Dean Thompson, who is a cancer survivor who has returned to competition. He just won the rodeo in Tremonton in August.

Calling all rodeo queens! You're invited to Utah's Own PRCA rodeo grand entry September 11th, 12th and 14th. Please check in no later than 6:30 p.m. to get your name on the list for grand entry. Rodeo starts at 7 p.m.! Contestant/queen parking is located at the Fairpark off 300 North at Gate 17 (north side of the fairpark).

The rodeo themes are:
Friday - Patriot Night (red, white and blue)
Saturday - Utah Foster Care (purple)
Monday - Tough Enough to Wear Pink (pink)

The Ute Stampede Rodeo family mourns the loss of Bob Day—a devoted friend, volunteer, mentor, and lifelong champion of rodeo and western tradition.

Bob served his community generously as a 4-H advisor, high school rodeo advisor for more than 30 years, member of the Nephi Nebo Posse Riding Club for over 50 years, and a valued member of the Ute Stampede Committee for more than 25 years.

He especially loved caring for the cowboys, often rising early to cook and serve breakfast. To Bob, rodeo, horses, cowboys, and the West were more than passions—they were a way of life.

Our heartfelt condolences are with Bob’s family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 31, at 10:30 a.m. at Vine Bluff Cemetery in Nephi. The family invites you to bring a chair and share a memory of Bob during an open mic.
