Congratulations to these fine gentlemen on their stripe promotions. At this point in their journey they have to have certain technical skills but they also have to demonstrate leadership, teamwork, adaptability, and professionalism.

Big congratulations to Westen on his 1st stripe. He had a few tough weeks trying to find his flow but now he has been on fire. His confidence and focus have grown tremendously and he even ties his belt in an advanced way. That look on his face is why we do what we do. Thanks to his mom and dad for supporting his jitsu both on and off the mats.

Congratulations to Acacia on her stripe promotion. Acacia has been challenging herself by attending the monthly women’s open mat and sparring with other fierce ladies. We are proud of her hard work and success.

Congratulations to Miguel, Gia, and Waverly on their stripe promotions. Miguel is working towards his next belt and likes to make lots of jokes. He has made a lot of growth both in his jitsu and social skills. Gia is quickly becoming a warrior princess. She is working on honing her skills and is a great teammate. Waverly is our youngest student but that doesn’t hold her back. She is picking everything up super fast and has no problem putting dad is a few chokeholds. One of the greatest thing about jitsu is watching our students persevere through challenges. They all start for different reasons. They struggle and then struggle some more but they make progress every single day.

09/01/2026

Enjoy the long weekend. No classes on Monday 9/7.

Big congrats to these fine fellows. Owen is about 1/3 of the way to his next belt. He is a powerhouse on the mats and learning how to coach the newer students. Oscar always gives his all and we are looking forward to him running circles around us after his cross country season.
