Happy 2025 everyone! Just a quick update on our sports programs this year. We will run our soccer league in the Fall this year. We hope to run the full season before Thanksgiving and information on signups will go out sometime during the summer months. There will be no games tomorrow, March 30th due to our fields being under water. We will reschedule the games and get new schedules to our players.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Remember, there were no practices or games this week. Our next game will be Thursday, April 11th. Please check your schedules for that game.

Have a blessed Easter and if you would like a place to worship this Sunday, we would be honored to welcome you here at Broad Creek. Our services are at 9AM and 10:30AM and you can dress casually. We would be honored to host you!

Hello everyone! No practices will be held on Thursday, March 28th due to forecasted rain. Let's all pray that the water will recede and the fields can be ready to play on Saturday, March 30th! Thank you!

It's Soccer Time!

We are excited about our Second Annual Spring Soccer League for ages Pre-K (4 years old by Jan 1, 2024) up to 8th grade.

You will find the links below to register players and below that you will find a link if you are interested in coaching a team.

Early Registration Cost is $40 per child with a $5 discount for each sibling after the first. (So two siblings together would be $75, three would be $110 and so on)

This Early Registration Cost ends at Midnight on February 22nd though. After that, from February 23rd until March 1st, the cost will be $51.70 per child and no discounts will be taken.

SO REGISTER EARLY!

Evaluations for all players will be held on March 2nd from 10AM until 1PM. You may bring your child to the church fields at any time during those hours for them to be evaluated, but they MUST be evaluated before they will be placed on a team this year.
If we have many registrations, we will have practice on either Tuesdays or Thursdays, but your child and family will only need to attend one night of practices per week. Please indicate which night works when you register.

First practice is March 12th at 6pm.

First game will be Saturday, March 16th and the last games will be played on May 4th.

Ages for the Spring soccer league are pre-k (4 years old by February 1st, 2024) to 8th grade!

Pre-registration for our Spring Soccer League begins on February 1st!

Early Registration will be $40 per child with a $5 dollar discount on each multiple child registered.

Early Registration ends on February 23rd and after that, the registraton fee will be $51.70.

If you are a parent willing to coach, please call the church office and leave a message. The number is 252-637-3727.

Evaluations will be March 2nd from 10AM-1PM, first practice will be Tuesday March 5th and First game will be March 16th. Depending on the number of players this year, practices may be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, but your child will only practice one of those nights each week. It will still only be one practice and one game per week.

We are very excited to announce that Coach Jim Givargis, Head Coach of Mid-Atlantic Christian University and some of his men's soccer players will be holding our clinic on November 18th!

Coach Givargis has over 40 years of coaching experience in individual training camps and head coaching.

We are honored and excited that Coach Givargis and members of the MACU Mustangs Soccer team will join us on November 18th!
