The discovery of pairing the deep, gently lingering heat of Nashville hot spice with the tang of apple vinegar slaw, sweet bread-and-butter pickles, and a rich hot aioli created a balance that felt both unexpected and familiar. Finished on a crisp Macrina ciabatta, it’s my take on a classic that celebrates heat, acidity, texture, and restraint in every bite.
