The album opened with 74,000 equivalent album units, including more than 71 million official on-demand streams, making it her first chart-topping album and her sixth project to reach the Billboard 200 Top 10.

Westside Whimsy is the first R&B album by a woman to top the Billboard 200 in 2026. 👏🏾🔥

Her previous album, Chilombo, came incredibly close, debuting at No. 2 in 2020 and later earning a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year. Now, six years later, Jhené has finally claimed that No. 1 spot.
