Oleta River Adventures Oleta River Outdoor Center is the official concession operator for Oleta River State Park in Florida.

We offer a variety of recreational equipment rentals, including paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, and bicycles, so you can enjoy the park’s scenic waterways, mangrove forests, and miles of off-road bicycling trails. Come explore the Biscayne Bay on one of our guided tours (Full Moon Tour, Sunset Tour, and Daily Eco Tours). Then, savor local seafood and American-style cuisine at our new waterfront restaurant, Blue Marlin Fish House. We also offer full-service event planning for special events and weddings to help you find the perfect location for an unforgettable day.

The Snorkel Adventure Kayak Tour takes you out by kayak into the clear water of Biscayne Bay. You paddle out, drop in, and what's underneath isn't what you'd expect from a park inside a major city, marine life, clear water, zero crowds.

No boat, no captain, no experience required. It runs Thursday through Sunday, so today's one of the days.

Halloween hits different on the water. Our Ghost & Ghouls Full Moon Paddle takes you down the mangrove trail into the calm waters of the Intracoastal, then around Sandspur Island, one of Oleta River State Park's hidden treasures. We'll pull into Beach Cove for a break, where you'll be greeted with s'mores and refreshments around the campfire before paddling back to close out the night.

Dress up, bring your crew, and paddle under the full moon for a Halloween experience you won't find anywhere else. One night only, October 24th, 6-9pm.

The Full Moon Kayak Tour runs Saturday night at Oleta River State Park, and there is nothing else like it. You paddle into the mangrove channels after dark. The full moon reflects flat off the water. The only sounds are your paddle and the river and whatever's moving in the canopy above you.

It's guided. Your eyes adjust faster than you think they will. By the time you're thirty minutes in, you won't want to turn around.

It's officially fall. In Miami, that means the water is finally yours.

The summer heat doesn't vanish overnight down here, but something shifts in late September.

The mornings get lighter. The afternoons stop being punishing. The mangroves look different in fall light. The greens deepen, the shadows stretch longer, and the whole park slows down into something you want to stay inside of.

This is when Oleta River State Park is at its best. The crowds are gone, the temperature is coming down, and the water is as warm as it was in July.

If you've been waiting for the right time, this is the right time.
