Extra reps outside of scheduled practices are about so much more than just player development. I’ve seen players and parents leave games or tournaments feeling disappointed in performance, but what often gets overlooked is the work done when nobody is watching. This is where the real difference is made.
And it’s not just about softball. Putting in extra reps goes far beyond getting better at the game. It builds discipline, confidence, and work ethic.
If you really want to impact an athlete’s growth, make it a family effort. As a coach, I can tell you my daughter learns so much and truly enjoys the game when it’s just time with our family. That doesn’t take anything away from the team. it’s just a different kind of growth, and it matters.

Coaches, players, and parents!!! Don’t focus so much on batting averages or strikeouts. Focus on the memories. Today’s youth already carry enough pressure and stress. Live by the motto: every time you step between those white lines, you should feel free, happy, and full of joy. I promise, if they feel that, they’ll walk away excited to do it again, no matter the outcome.

We started practicing on January 4th, and I honestly can’t say enough about these girls. The hard work, positive attitudes, and the way they still find a way to have fun is something special. This group is making softball exactly what it’s supposed to be about at this age and it’s awesome to watch.

2026 is just days away and that means softball season is almost here!
Our second year 10U Bandits begin practicing January 4th, starting next week. We are still looking for one more player to complete our 11 player roster.
