Okay, but… what do people actually see an acupuncturist for? 👀
Probably more than you think.
Acupuncture may be used as part of care for things like pain and muscle tension, headaches, stress, sleep concerns, digestive complaints and other wellness goals.
And your appointment with Nancy isn’t simply “come in → needles → goodbye.”
New acupuncture clients begin with a comprehensive initial visit so Nancy has time to learn about you—your health history, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’d like support with.
Depending on your individual treatment, she may also incorporate tools such as cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, TDP heat therapy or electrical stimulation.
And yes…
A lot of people are surprised by how relaxing acupuncture can feel.
Hence our favorite phrase:
needle nap. 😴
Curious but still in the “I have approximately 47 questions before anyone comes near me with a needle” stage?
Ask them below. 😂👇
