We were clapping, hooping, and hollering like we were right there in the crowd! 😂👏🏽📣 We got together to watch Markeshia A. Grant receive her espnW Neighborhood Hero Award, and you couldn’t tell us she couldn’t hear us through that TV! 🖤🤍 Thank you Set the Bar for hosting us.
So proud to celebrate a woman who pours so much into our girls and our community. Supporting those who support others is what it’s all about. Congratulations, Markeshia! So well deserved! 🏆✨

Last night was day one of our winter session, and we’re putting the leader in cheerleader! 📣🖤🤍
Our girls got to share a room with professional athletes, ask questions, and learn from their experiences. Then we put our bodies to work, practicing cheer technique and learning the names of different poses.
I’m excited to watch these young ladies grow in confidence, get to know one another, and build a sisterhood with friendships that last far beyond this winter season. We’re just getting started! 🙌🏽✨
There’s still time to join us! We’d love to welcome your athlete to K.A.P.D. Cheer. 🖤🤍

What a powerful evening with a conversation about belonging! 💜 Thank you EPIC for Girls - Omaha for this beautiful connection with SheMate. Our girls got to have a seven time champion in the room tonight.
Our K.A.P.D. 📣 Cheer girls got to ask questions in real time, hear from a powerhouse woman in sports, and see what it looks like to take up space with confidence.
Bri Parker, thank you for taking extra time out of your day to answer their questions and take photos with the girls. Your presence meant so much to us. We appreciate you, Bri! 👸🏽💜

K.A.P.D. 📣 Cheer is kicking off our winter season with a bang! 🖤🤍
Our first conversation is about belonging: finding your people, making room for others, and knowing you deserve to take up space. We’re excited to partner with and hear from Bri Parker and Savannah Whatley as they share their experiences as women in sports, alongside co-host Shaliyah Rhoden.
This season, we’re putting the leader in cheerleader. Our girls are learning that their voices matter, their teammates matter, and each of them has the power to help someone else feel like they belong. 🙌🏽

🎉📣 HAPPY 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY to K.A.P.D Cheer! 📣🎉
Three years ago, we stepped onto the mat for our very first practice. I had a vision for what this program could become, but I couldn’t have imagined just how much joy, growth, and sisterhood these girls would bring into our lives. 🖤🤍
Since then, we’ve cheered on sidelines, marched in parades, celebrated wins, and watched our girls find their voices, build confidence, and become leaders. This year, seeing a room full of families cheer each girl on at our banquet reminded me exactly why we started.
To our cheerleaders: thank you for showing up, working hard, and lifting one another up. To our parents and families: thank you for trusting us with your girls and showing up for them every step of the way. To our coaches, partners, and community: thank you for believing in this vision and helping it grow. 🙌🏽
Three years of K.A.P.D Cheer, and we’re about to kick off Season Four! I’m so proud of what we’ve built together, and even more excited for the girls we’re becoming together. ✨
