Last weekend, our Marketing Coordinator, Morgan Reidmiller, hosted the Restore. Rinse. Repeat. Stream Clean at Fox Hill Park with her husband, Ryan. From picking up trash to soaking up the sunshine, volunteers spent the day making a positive impact. Community service projects, like this one, are in our firm's DNA. In fact, Servant Leadership is one of our core values.
Morgan and Ryan founded Restore. Rinse. Repeat in 2024. Over the years, they’ve led this effort to keep our waterways clean and bring people together to give back. We’re proud to support Morgan and this incredible initiative!

Today, we're excited to highlight a project that has been moving Overland Park forward for the last several years. Working closely with the City, we designed a mile and a half long trail connection along 91st Street to provide safe pedestrian access to surrounding residential and commercial areas as part their Greenway Linkage Plan. Learn how this 10-foot-wide trail provides a pedestrian connection between Meadowbrook Park and Cherokee Park and offers neighborhood access to a Metcalf Avenue retail area. https://loom.ly/Cnkt8rw

Throughout the month of June, our Stormwater Team will be working with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Kansas City District on the Planning Assistance to States (PAS) Stream Assessment Project. For this effort, we'll be evaluating 375 locations, alongside Vireo, to see how the environmental conditions have changed since the last assessments, which were conducted between 2002 and 2005.
Our team will be looking at bank erosion, channel conditions, biodiversity of plants and animals, water quality, adjacent land uses, and taking note of undesirable conditions. This will be done by field observation, photographs, and measurements. Over the next few weeks, we'll share updates as we work our way through each site. Follow along at to see where we're working and what we've learned.

Designing roadways isn’t exactly like riding a bike... but we think it should feel just as smooth 🚲
Our Roadway Team is always working to keep communities moving. Better connections. Safer streets. More ways for everyone to get where they’re going. That means adding bike lanes, improving trails, and creating spaces where cyclists and pedestrians belong. By integrating bike lanes and designing trails that better accommodate pedestrians and cyclists, we support sustainability and create safer, more accessible transportation options.
In celebration of World Bicycle Day, we invite you to take your bike for a spin and experience one of our project sites firsthand!
