Warmed by the Southern California sun and cooled by ocean breezes, River Ridge offers TWO championship courses with country club quality at public prices. Originally designed by Billy Bell Jr. in the mid-1980s, the VINEYARD COURSE has gone through several redesigns providing ocean and panoramic views of Ventura County. The VICTORIA LAKES COURSE opened in 2008 and provides a great test of golf. The greens are bent/poa annua grass and the fairways are Greg Norman (GNI) hybrid bermuda. Like the Vineyard course, Victoria Lakes harbors eight acres of water. One of the unique features River Ridge offers is EXCEPTIONAL PACE OF PLAY. River Ridge has an outstanding pace of play team and enforces the pace of play policy. In 2010 the average playtime on the Vineyard Course was 4 hours 17 minutes. Seventy-nine percent of play finished in less than 4 hours 23 minutes, and over 98% finished in less than 5 hours. In addition to 36 CHAMPIONSHIP HOLES, River Ridge has complete practice facilities including an all-grass driving range, practice putting and chipping greens and a learning center staffed by PGA PROFESSIONALS. The clubhouse offers complete dining and banquet facilities and hosts an average of 38 WEDDINGS each year.
