We’re a real working ranch—not a fancy equestrian country club—where horses are spoiled, care is hands-on, and someone is always covered in dirt, hay, or horse slobber. 🤣

🐴 STALL AVAILABLE! WILL TRADE HORSE HOUSING FOR MANUAL LABOR! 🤠💩

That’s right, folks! The Buckin’ Fitch Ranch has ONE 24x24 partially shaded stall available for work exchange!

💰 Rent? How about a little sweat equity?

We’re looking for someone willing to exchange stall cleaning for horse boarding. Because apparently these horses haven’t figured out how to clean up after themselves, and management is getting a little tired of their crap. Literally. 💩😂

HERE’S THE DEAL:

🐎 ONE spacious 24x24 partially shaded stall
💩 Clean stalls 3 days a week, approximately 2–3 hours a day
💪 Must be dependable, hardworking, and not allergic to actual work
🐴 Horse experience is a plus, but knowing which end of a pitchfork to hold is an excellent start!

💉 HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:

Current vaccinations and a negative Coggins test within the past 12 months are required BEFORE move-in! No exceptions!

NOW, CAN WE TALK ABOUT SOMETHING? 🙄

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve heard, “Oh my gosh, I’d LOVE to do that!” “I’m definitely interested!” “I’ll come help!”

And then… P**F! 👻

They vanish faster than a paycheck at the feed store!

Seriously, people! THIS IS A REALLY GOOD DEAL! You’re getting a place to board your horse in exchange for a few days of honest work. No magic tricks, no hidden treasure hunt, just a pitchfork and some p**p!

WHAT WE’RE NOT LOOKING FOR:

🚫 Someone who thinks showing up is optional
🚫 Someone who disappears after the first week
🚫 Someone who thinks “work exchange” means standing around watching other people work
🚫 Professional excuse-makers. We’ve already met plenty!

We’re a small, hands-on ranch, not a luxury resort. The horses are spoiled, the humans are exhausted, and the manure is apparently reproducing overnight.

😂 If you’re reliable, love horses, have your paperwork in order, and aren’t afraid of a little p**p, we might just be your people!

A day filled with beautiful horses, wonderful friends, and memories I’ll cherish forever! ❤️🐴

A huge THANK YOU to Matt for capturing these incredible photos of my beautiful boy Gunner, along with my beautiful friends Monica and Caroline!

And a special thank you to Stefan for making it all happen!

We had such a wonderful day, and it was truly a privilege to work alongside so many amazing people at such a magical location.

What makes these photos even more special is knowing that I now have these beautiful memories of my boy to treasure forever. ❤️

And before anyone gets worried, Gunner is still very much alive and well! At 31 years young, he’s going on 3! 😂🐎 He’s living proof that age is just a number!

So grateful for the experience, the friendships, and most of all, these priceless memories.

Attention horse friends!

So any of you have an unstarted 2 year old? We need to borrow one for a demonstration at the IRON event on the 6th and 7th. The Clinician will be from a VERY WELL known Barn. We are talking top tier, world renowned, best of the best barn.

Addendum:

I will be speaking with the clinician tomorrow afternoon to get more details on what they are looking for. Please message me with information about your youngster (age, preferably 2, training/handling if any, breed, and if you have a picture that would be great!)
