Panama Rocks is open through Sunday, November 1st (daily from 10am to 5pm). The park will close for the season on November 2nd and reopen for our 2027 in May.

Panama Rocks Foliage Report (October 22): there are still some nice colors in the rocks! While some trees have lost their leaves, the canopy has opened up revealing yellow, orange, and pops of red. I Love NY says Chautauqua is at 85% change with bright-to-brilliant yellows, golds and oranges and some leaf droppage. Panama Rocks is open daily through Sunday, November 1st from 10am-5pm!

Panama Rocks Foliage Report (October 15) - the colors are amazing! We are at peak foliage in the rocks with splashes of bright red, orange, and yellow throughout the forest. While the Chautauqua region is at near-peak, red maples will likely lose their leaves soon. There is still a few weeks of foliage left in the rocks, but the colors won’t get much better than this!

Panama Rocks Foliage Update (October 8) - vibrant colors are starting to pop throughout the park! Red maples are in full color with sugar maples, ash, and cherry beginning to turn orange and yellow. Colorful leaves are falling and scattering among the rocks and moss! The I Love New York Foliage Report says Chautauqua County is at 50% color change this weekend.
