For more than two years, Angels Boxing Academy and Rosalind Franklin University have worked together to provide our youth with injury prevention, physical wellness support, and access to professionals who can guide them when something doesn’t feel right.

Today: Injury Prevention
Tomorrow: Strength & Conditioning
Coming soon: Free physical exams

ABA has one of the strongest boxing coaching teams around—but our commitment goes far beyond the ring. We build partnerships with leading universities and professionals to protect, strengthen, and create new opportunities for our youth.

This level of support isn’t something you find at just any gym in Lake County.

THIS IS WHAT A TEAM LOOKS LIKE. 🥊

Today didn’t go as planned. We were ready to head to Indiana to compete, but plans changed.

So we turned the change into an opportunity.

An opportunity to eat together, laugh, have fun, and create memories.

Because a youth organization isn’t just about practices, programs, or competition. It’s about creating the moments our young people will remember long after the gloves come off.

Many of the young people in these photos train, compete, coach, and help lead the next generation at ABA.

Today, they simply got to be young and enjoy the team they’ve helped build.

Not every fight happens in the ring.

Anxiety.
Insecurity.
Your own thoughts.
Your ego.
Exhaustion.
Sadness.

And you still show up.

You wrap your hands.
You put on the gloves.
You get to work.

🥊 AFTER SCHOOL, EVERY HOUR MATTERS.

Not every young person participates in school sports or activities, but every young person deserves a place where they can stay active, develop discipline, and feel like part of a team.

That’s why Angels Boxing Academy is opening a new boxing class:

👥 Youth ages 13–17
⏰ 4:00–5:00 p.m.
📅 Monday through Thursday
🥊 Classes begin October 5

We want young people to have a safe place to go after school, a positive routine, and something that motivates them throughout the week.

It’s not just about keeping them busy. It’s about giving them direction, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
