A NEW CHAPTER FOR COACH NAS! ❤️⚾️ Nasir Frederick

UpTop Prospects would like to congratulate Coach Nasir “Nas” Frederick as he begins his next chapter in Charlotte, North Carolina!

Over his time with UpTop, Coach Nas became much more than a coach in our program. Whether it was coaching our teams, running camps, working one-on-one with players through 80Grade Development, or simply being someone our young men could call on — Nas always made himself available. 80 Grade Development

His impact was never just about creating better baseball players. It was about helping create better young men.

He challenged our players, believed in them, held them accountable, celebrated their success, and made sure they knew their development went far beyond the baseball field. For many of our athletes, he became a mentor, role model, big brother, and someone they knew was genuinely invested in seeing them succeed.

Through 80Grade Development, countless hours were spent in the cages teaching the game, building confidence, and reminding players that development comes from showing up, working hard, and doing the little things consistently.

If there was a kid who wanted to work, Coach Nas found a way to be there.

Practices. Games. Camps. Lessons. Extra reps. Whatever it took.

While we’re sad to see him leave Houston, we’re even more excited to see the impact he’ll make in Charlotte. The pictures and videos show the work, but the young men he’s impacted tell the real story.

Thank you for everything you poured into UpTop Prospects, 80Grade Development, our families, and most importantly, our players.

Houston was part of the journey. Now it’s time for Charlotte. 📍⚾️
