As our community and the entire Commonwealth gather to mourn the loss of Trooper Kevin Trainor, we want to remind families that his wake is this evening from 4pm to 7pm at Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home on Lynn Street.

Parking bans and road closures on area roads are already being implemented, and thousands are expected to attend throughout the evening.

Please plan ahead and allow extra travel time getting to and from games tonight. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all honor Trooper Trainor and support his family, friends, and fellow law enforcement officers during this difficult time.

By now, everyone is aware of the heartbreaking loss of Massachusetts State Trooper Kevin Trainor, who tragically lost his life while attempting to stop a wrong-way driver on Route 1 early Wednesday morning.
Like so many throughout our community, we mourn this tremendous loss. For the Peabody Babe Ruth family, this tragedy hits especially close to home, as Trooper Trainor’s nephew is a player in our Majors Division.
The Peabody Babe Ruth Board of Directors extends its deepest condolences to the entire Trainor family, his law enforcement family, and to all who are mourning his passing.
