Some sad news this morning, as it appears that Abdullah the Butcher, real name Larry Shreve, is having some serious health concerns due to neglect at the suburban Atlanta hospital where he has been hospitalized for most of the past year. Queen Malikah, Abby’s longtime manager and caregiver, has taken to Facebook today to reveal the horrible situations Abby has been exposed to at the facility and some very serious health issues have been ignored by the staff. The picture below was released today by Malikah.
From her post, Malikah says that Abby is suffering from a stroke and constant pain, now he has a stage 4 sacral wound that has been contaminated with urine and f***s. These contaminations have cause Larry to become even sicker, lose more weight, and have bouts of delirium because of the infection he is fighting. She says she has reported and emailed everyone involved that Larry needs to be attended to at a facility that can adequately meet his needs. She says the hospital wants to discharge him to a nursing facility and claims that his Medicare has run out, and they will have to discharge him if they cannot pay $200 a day.
Malikah goes on to say that Abby needs to be tested for sepsis and blood infections, but her requests have been ignored, and most of the people she is messaging for help at the hospital are ignoring her messages. Abby is now bed bound and very vulnerable to many infections that could be fatal. Piedmont Atlanta hospital is reportedly a top wound care center, but they are neglecting to care for Abby properly. She goes on to say that the nursing facility they are trying to discharge him to is not adequate for his care.
Guys, Abdullah gave his all for the business for decades, it’s truly sad that he is going through the disgrace of being treated so poorly while in a facility that should be caring for him and not letting the situation get worse. Let’s hope Queen Malikah can get something done and get Abby somewhere he can get some help, and in the meantime, pray for his recovery. Such a terrible way to let this man lay in a bed and suffer.
