Hello Everyone!!

The annual Vistancia Turkey Trot is just over a week away! Are YOU registered and ready to walk, jog, or run with your neighborhood friends?? This year, I am working alongside Vistancia resident, Justin Herman, to make this the BIGGEST 5k event Vistancia has ever seen!!

The event will be held on Thanksgiving morning. The run will start promptly at 8:30am, so be sure to arrive by 8:00am! We are expecting a LARGE crowd, so we have added a competitive 3.1 mile route for runners while walkers and joggers are encouraged to use the original route. Of course, this is just a suggestion, so you are free to use either route if you want to stick with family or friends! Visit the link below to see the most recent updates!

There will be T-shirts, race bibs, and finisher medals! Three Sisters Give, a local non-profit organization whose mission is to “empower community members and youth to uplift those in need through compassionate service” will have a booth with information on their organization. Gameday Men’s Health, a local business “dedicated to improving the lives of men and optimizing their health” will be there with more information on their services. There will be lots to see and do, so don’t miss out!

Hello All!

‘Tis the season for the annual Vistancia Turkey Trot! This year, I am collaborating with Vistancia resident, Justin Herman, to make this the BIGGEST 5k event Vistancia has ever seen!!

The event will be held on Thanksgiving morning. The run will start promptly at 8:30am, so be sure to arrive no later than 8:15am! We will be meeting just outside the MVC Clubhouse, then we will hit the Discovery Trail. We will run approximately 1.5 miles to where the trail ends, behind the Safeway plaza, then run (walk or jog) back to where we started!

As in years past, the trail will be chalked with distance markers and encouraging messages. There will be medals for the first 3 runners to complete the 3.1 mile distance and there will be some raffle prizes!

Well, we didn’t make it to Sedona after all.👎🏻3 of the 6 had last minute stuff come up.😒The remaining 3 decided it was best not to risk it as there is rain in the forecast.😣 We did manage to take a local hike this morning. Long story, but the hike started with Missy and ended with Jocelyn!😂

Let’s consider a day trip to Sedona in the fall. I’ll plan further in advance next time! Thanks to everyone for being flexible this week. Have a fantastic weekend I will see YOU on Monday!

Hello Vistancia Friends and Neighbors!!

Did you know that there is an AWESOME workout group that meets RIGHT HERE in Vistancia?? It’s called Vistancia Fitness Bootcamp, and this class has been a staple in our community since 2012!!

Where are YOU on your fitness journey RIGHT NOW? Maybe you are contemplating starting a fitness routine for the first time ever, or maybe you are ready to go!! Wherever you're at, come join us as we get STRONGER TOGETHER!

The March session will run from Wednesday, March 2nd thru Wednesday, March 30th! *PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES HELD THE WEEK OF MARCH 14TH-18TH, which is spring break.* Registration is NOW OPEN and will close on Sunday, February 27th.

Here’s what you need to know before you sign up:
- Classes will be held on M-W-F at 6:00am AND 8:30am.
- The cost is $50, MARCH ONLY. The regular cost is $65 for a full month.
- We will be meeting at the tennis courts unless otherwise notified via group text.
- You will need to bring a jump rope, yoga mat, set of 5lb dumbbells and a water bottle to class each day.
