Competition can be a healthy and fun way to push yourself to retain all of those instructions you got in private lessons, group classes, and those little moments on the social floor.

Adrenaline is one of your body’s best tools for learning. Most people who compete once, decide to compete again and do better the longer they stick with it because you LEARN so much in the moment when you only have a handful of minutes to perform at your best.

Amazing job to all of our talented dancers who placed in the finals at this season’s District Showcase. Some of you have been striving for placement/award/recognition for years and some of you have hit the ground running with only a couple of events under your belt.

To every dancer who decided to go for it this past weekend. We are immeasurably proud of you for putting yourself out there and stepping into the introductory dance sport ring.

Don’t stop striving for greatness, the journey is 10x as fun as the destination.
