This prep was about so much more than stepping on stage.

With everything life has thrown at me lately, I needed something that reminded me I was still in control of my own story. Every workout, every meal, and every early morning became my escape. A reminder that I am stronger than the things trying to break me.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible people who stood beside me.

The Tuesday before the show, I found out my thyroid cancer bloodwork had gotten worse again.

I could have let that stop me. Instead, I stepped on stage anyway.

This prep reminded me that while I can’t control every diagnosis or every lab result, I can control how I show up. I can choose strength. I can choose purpose. I can keep moving forward.

I’m not done competing.

I’m just getting started.

This news didn’t extinguish my fire.

It poured gasoline on it. 💜🔥
