Sunday rehearsal with these lovelies! 😃
This group of Level 1 & 2 bellydancer students are off to a great start with their choreo for the on Feb 28th!
They'll be joined onstage by our resident dance company and our percussionists. Everyone is hard at work. Preparing another big beautiful show to share this year!

Hello! I'm Mahin, bellydance teacher at One World Dance & Music.
29 years ago, belly dance changed my life.
It gave me a new, more positive way to relate to my body, a beautiful new way to express myself and a community of wonderful people to who share my love of this music and dance.
All things I never could have predicted when I decided to take a dance class.
Some surprises are awesome.
And yes - a career too eventually - but the other stuff is way more important in the bigger picture of life.
This Thanksgiving, I want to pass that gift forward.

Thank you to the for having us back to perform at this year's Festival of the Arts! Our dancers and drummers had a great time sharing what we love with the audience.
Bonus - we got to meet our mayor, and reunited with a fellow dancer from way back!

It happens in your kitchen, your living room, anywhere you let yourself move. 💃
Bellydance isn't about being perfect or performing. It's about reconnecting with your body, feeling the music in your hips, and remembering that movement is meant to feel good—not like something you have to earn or qualify for.
You don't need to be a certain age, size, or fitness level.
You just need to be willing to show up for yourself. That's it.
Every shimmy, every sway, every moment you move just because it feels AHH-mazing—that's what bellydance is really about.
No audience required. 💜
