On Saturday, May 23rd, we announced the Top 3 Winners of our 2026 Tournament of Champions at the People's Choice Gala. 🏆After a competitive half of year of competition with some new unexpected challenges and twists and turns, we are proud to announce the top 3 Winners of our Grand Voyage✈️:

🥉In third place, we have Gilbert H. whose consistent dedication to attending workshops and dance parties, and perfecting technique is something we all admire! 🤩
🥈 In second place, we have Michael C. whose love for dance as a newcomer is something even those of us who have been dancing for years can learn from! 💘
🥇 And last, but certainly not least, in first place, we have Barbara H. whose first time competing at People's Choice was a smashing success, a well-earned pay-off to the hundreds of hours she has given to our sport! 🎉

🌟 Kick off the month with our Improve Your Smooth Social Dance Workshop on Sunday, June 7th at 1 PM, led by studio owners Paul & Julianne. Elevate your dance skills, improve your confidence on the floor, and make every dance feel more effortless and enjoyable!

🌸 Ready to bloom? Join Lotus for our empowering 2-Part Bloom Workshop on June 14th & June 21st at 2 PM. These transformational sessions focus on confidence, self-expression, and stepping into your most empowered self.

🤠 Country dancers, this one’s for you! On Friday, June 19th, we’re hosting the Arizona 2-Step State Qualifier featuring group lessons and an exciting country dance party with the incredible Mona Brandt.

💫 New to ballroom dancing? Our Ballroom Basics Beginners Night on Friday, June 26th is the perfect place to start. No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm and we’ll help you take your first steps!

🏄‍♀️🌊 Then finish the month with a splash at our Surf & Sand Beach Party on Saturday, June 27th! Enjoy dancing, beach-themed fun, snacks, games, prizes, and a community that loves to celebrate together.

DanceWise Dance Studio is thrilled to present our FIRST-EVER In-Studio Team Match on Saturday, August 29—and it’s going to be an unforgettable day of dancing, excitement, friendly competition, and nonstop energy!

This year’s battle theme: ✨ THE DECADES ✨

🔥 Team 1960s, led by owner Paul, will be bringing all the groovy vibes, classic style, and iconic moves of the Swinging Sixties!

⚡ Team 1980s, led by owner Julianne, will be rocking the neon, big hair, and high-energy dance spirit of the Eighties!

Who will claim victory and become the first team to earn the DanceWise Team Match Perpetual Trophy? There’s only one way to find out!

Whether you’re dancing, cheering, or simply soaking up the incredible atmosphere, EVERYONE is welcome to participate and spectate throughout the day. We highly encourage everyone to come dressed in their favorite decade-inspired costumes and attire to help make the event even more fun and festive!

The excitement doesn’t stop when the competition ends! Join us in the evening for a fantastic Social Dance and Awards Ceremony where we’ll celebrate the competitors, crown our champions, and enjoy a great night of dancing together. Absolutely everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!
