It was hot in Tyler, but the skies stayed clear — and so were our rounds.

Another weekend in the books: full sun, good footing, and horses that showed up ready to work. Grateful for every clean jump and every rider who kept their cool in the heat. On to the week two!

Congratulations, Aubree! 💙🏆
We are incredibly proud to share that Aubree Looper was selected as the 2026 recipient of the USEF Pony Finals First Timer Grant in Honor of Taylor Madison Orlowski.

Established in Taylor’s memory, this special grant recognizes a first-time Pony Finals competitor who treats horses and fellow competitors with respect, demonstrates exceptional horsemanship, and embodies strong sportsmanship—qualities that represent the very best of our sport. The $1,500 grant is generously provided in Taylor’s honor by her parents, Heather McCandless and Donnie Orlowski, along with Taylor’s family and friends.

What made this moment even more meaningful was having Taylor’s parents there personally to present the award to Aubree.

Pony Finals is about so much more than ribbons. It is about horsemanship, respect, perseverance, and the young riders who will shape the future of our sport. We could not be prouder to see Aubree recognized with an award that honors those values and carries forward Taylor’s legacy.

Congratulations, Aubree. This is an honor you should be incredibly proud of! 🐴✨

Training champions starts long before they walk into the show ring. 🏆

Pony modeling allows judges to evaluate a pony’s conformation, balance, movement, and overall suitability as a hunter. But for a young or green pony, it’s also an important part of their education.

Standing quietly, walking and trotting politely in hand, allowing a judge to approach, and staying focused in a busy environment are all skills that have to be taught.

This is what training champions looks like at EquiPoint. It’s not just about jumping the jumps or winning the ribbons. It’s about developing confident ponies, educated riders, and true horsemen.

From a rider’s first show to Pony Finals, we believe the little things are what eventually become the big things. 💙

What an incredible accomplishment for Aubree and Trixie (Easy Peasy) at USEF Pony Finals!

This special pair finished 21st in the nation over fences in the Green Pony division — just one spot shy of the Top 20! To finish among the best Green Ponies in the country is an incredible achievement and a true testament to their hard work, dedication, and partnership. 💙

We couldn’t be more proud of Aubree and Trixie for representing Equipoint on the national stage and making this Pony Finals one to remember! 🐴✨
