We are looking for a few good riders! Do you have a horse but need a home barn? Do you NEED a horse AND a barn? We have options!
1. Quantum Leap SGF is looking for a teen or adult ammy to LEASE him. This is a CARE-LEASE situation, but he must stay on property! “Bailey” is a 16 hh 18-year-old Hanoverian gelding. Jumps up to 2’3”, dressage and hunter jumper background.
2. JPH Bruno Mars – a 9-year-old Welsh 12.2 hh pony looking for a strong kid that wants a FREE summer project with a possible lease in the fall. After breaking his leg completely in 2022 and a full year rehabilitation he has not had an opportunity to get back in shape. Bruno has a LOT of personality. He is extremely talented with an auto lead change but also knows all the pony tricks. He cannot jump very high due to his leg (PM for more details or follow his page JPH Bruno Mars the Pony) but he is not lame and wants a job. English, western, driving, whatever the kid wants to do, he is open to anything!
3. Looking for a place where you can board, lesson and show? We would love to add a few riders to our show team. We follow the local, NTHJC circuit. I am an ARIA Level 3 Hunt Seat certified instructor with many, many years of experience. I absolutely love to teach kids and have a special interest in Welsh ponies. Bring your pony or horse and get started with us today! We have a lovely barn family that is completely drama free. We live on-site and I can guarantee you and your equine partner will be very happy here. Lesson haul-ins welcome too!

A very wet, very successful weekend at Texas Rose Horse Park. Highlights:
Harper and Dream did 2’6” for the first time and were reserve champion in the equitation division!
Gigi and WallE got some nice ribbons in short stirrup.
Emery and DJ got a well earned first place in canter crossrails.
Harper showed Bailey in the 2’3” and had a lot of fun.
Skylar and Prince had an oops in the Pony derby which was disappointing but then rallied for Champion in Pony Hunter and reserve champion in pony equitation!

Quantum Leap SGF, 16 h 18 year old WB is available for an IN-BARN care lease. This big b***d guy takes a lot of leg. He is happiest to cruise around the 2'-2'3" courses. Dressage background early, then HJ in later years.
A teenager or adult amateur would have a lot of fun with him. It has to be an in-barn lease as we don't want him leaving the property as he is very happy here. If you are looking for a care lease situation PM me to schedule a time to visit. "Bailey" is here at my farm in Pilot Point. He does require maintenance and anyone wishing to jump must take lessons with me as well. We are a very small barn "family" with zero drama. Was most recently ridden and showed by a girl who went from age 12-16 on him, canter crossrails through 2'3". Automatic lead change and a real sweetheart.

Congratulations to the Abingdon Park girls at the NTHJC Prospering Farm show today! Harper and Dream (he lives up to his name) had some EXCELLENT rounds in the 2’3” earning two 2nds in large classes. Skylar and Prince rocked the pony classes again getting Champion in Pony Hunter and reserve champion in Pony equitation. Gigi showed a new pony, WallE, in short stirrup and had some fun while earning ribbons in every class and Emery showed Lucy in trot crossrails, getting 2nd on the flat then followed that up by showing DJ in canter crossrails and earning her first Champion ribbon!! I’m so proud of these girls and their hard work. Especially today as my alarm didn’t go off this morning and we did not get to school first thing. That was a first for me 😂. It’s amazing how fast you can roll when you are running really late!

I am looking for a large pony / small horse (bonus if it has Welsh in it) for an 11 year old student. She is currently doing short stirrup. This pony/horse MUST have a lead change - not an "it's in there if you really ask for it" lead change but an honest to goodness "I promise it will do them" lead change. I am looking primarily for a gelding and please the Lord, it won't be gray. We need a saintly disposition and a "just keep rollin'" type of ride. No stopping, bucking, bolting, you know the drill. This pony/horse will live OUT with a shed and pasture mates. It will get excellent care, including whatever maintenance is needed like supplements or chiro. We would really prefer something that is not elderly. Older is ok, but not dangling near the grave. We are looking for a short-term lease (think 4-6 months, or ideally, monthly) that could potentially turn into long-term lease. Please MESSAGE me for the budget (or text me if I know you!). We had quite a weekend at the NTHJC benefit show! I was so busy I didn’t have time to post any pictures. Skylar, Gigi, Natalya and Emery all rode and we had a blast.
