Congratulations Carter, JT and Brian!
The 2026 IRONMAN Lake Placid took place on Sunday, July 19. The race weekend featured a 2.4-mile swim in Mirror Lake, a 112-mile bike course through the Adirondack Mountains, and a full marathon finishing at the historic Olympic speed skating oval.
Three Dolphins completed this renowned triathlon. Carter finished in the top 20% of his division with a time just under 12 hours. Brian and JT each finished in the top 40% of their divisions, with Brian racing for just under 14 hours and JT just over 13 hours. Congratulations to all for these stellar performances!

Congratulations, Chris!
Chris represented our Dolphins at the Valencia Gay Games, an international sporting and cultural event that brings together thousands of people every four years to celebrate inclusion, respect and diversity. He first competed in the 400 IM, finishing 7th in his age group. Then in the 200 IM, he improved his time by 20 seconds compared to his seed time to finish 10th. Congratulations Chris!

Dolphins Masters swimmer and triathlete, JT, recently completed the Mont-Tremblant Ironman 70.3. The course, north of Montreal, is a combination of natural beauty and adventure. This epic journey begins with a 1.2 mile swim in the clean water of Lac Tremblant, situated between mountain ridges, followed by a 56 mile rolling bike course on closed roads with minimal turns, and finishes with an out and back 13.1 mile run that is mostly shaded with smooth rollers, finishing in the heart of the Mont-Tremblant Village. Congratulations to JT for completing the course in just over 5:38!
