A family-owned and -operated shop, we've been in business since 1983 and are proud to be such an integral part of our town's lake community. 🚨 Texas Hunting & Fishing License Update 🚨

Starting August 3, 2026, Texas Parks & Wildlife has new ID verification requirements for purchasing hunting and fishing licenses.

Here’s what you need to know:
For in-store purchases:
• Everyone 17 years or older must be physically present.
• Each person must present a valid, unexpired photo ID.

🪪 Accepted ID:
• Texas Driver License or Texas State ID (REAL ID and non-REAL ID accepted)
• IDs marked “Temporary” or “Limited Term” require additional documentation and must be processed in person.

⚠️ Please plan ahead! If you’re purchasing licenses for family members or friends, everyone age 17+ must be present with their own valid ID.

We’ll be happy to help you get your license as quickly as possible—having everyone present with their IDs will make the process smooth.
