Small ball. Big story. 🏓

Did you know pickleball was invented in 1965 on Bainbridge Island, Washington? What began as a simple backyard game has grown into a sport enjoyed by players of all ages around the world.

Not bad for a ball full of holes! 😄

Fall tennis is officially underway - and we’re off to an ace of a start! 🎾🍂

Players across our communities are back on the courts, building skills, growing their confidence, and having plenty of fun along the way. We’re excited for another fantastic season of learning, competition, and connection!

09/13/2026

From above, it’s just a court surrounded by a neighborhood.

But step inside the lines, and it becomes so much more - a place to move, learn, compete, connect, and grow. 🎾

Every great journey starts somewhere. Sometimes, it starts on the court right around the corner.

🌟 COACH SPOTLIGHT: Meet Coach Russ! 🏓

A PCI Certified Pickleball Coach and USA Pickleball Ambassador, Coach Russ brings years of clinic and private-lesson experience, and more than 40 years of competitive racquetball, to the court.

What makes him especially valuable is his ability to explain both the “how” and the “why,” while adapting every lesson to each player’s abilities and needs. After decades of coaching professionals in the software industry, helping others learn, improve, and build confidence comes naturally to him.

We’re proud to have Coach Russ on the Tennisbloc team!

09/07/2026

Today, we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that keep our communities moving, on and off the court. 🎾🏓

Wishing everyone a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled Labor Day from Tennisbloc!
