Fruition Farm

Yesterday was an amazing day for all Central Oregon Chapter of ODS hosted by Nancy and Mark Stearns at Stonepony Dressage! We always enjoy going next door because it is such a welcoming atmosphere and so friendly and positive. For Amelia Helwig and her 19 year old TB Quiggy, it was a day to remember, winning both of her AA classes (Training 2 with a 70.8% and Training 3 with a 67.6%) and receiving the show high point award! Amelia is incredibly driven in everything she does and to see her hard work rewarded as she gets ready to go to college at UVM was a perfect bookend to her journey with Quiggy and Fruition Farm Sporthorses. I couldn’t be more proud of both of them! ❤️ Special thanks to Karlee Castro for the work she has put in half-leasing Quiggy (with multiple wins and personal bests over the last 2 years herself!), to Amelia’s mom Angela for her dedication to giving Quiggy the best life possible, and to the entire Fruition Farm family for their support! Thank you all for your belief in my training and philosophy in how we care for our horses, and for the trust you place in me on a daily basis. It is truly an honor and a privilege to be with each of you on this journey! ❤️🦄🥰

A lot of people think coaching is just about wins, trophies, rankings, and records. But the truth is… anybody can yell, demand results, or focus only on the scoreboard. Real coaching goes deeper than basketball. Real coaching teaches discipline, accountability, confidence, communication, and how to handle adversity when life gets hard. The best coaches don’t just develop better players — they develop stronger people. 🏀 The impact of a great coach doesn’t end when the season is over. Years later, players might forget a play call or a final score, but they’ll always remember the lessons, standards, belief, and guidance that helped shape who they became. Sometimes the biggest win a coach can create has nothing to do with the scoreboard at all. The best coaches leave lessons that last long after the final buzzer because real coaching changes lives. 💯
