Thank you to Fort Bend County Parks and Fairgrounds and Compudopt for helping children in Fort Bend County achieve, connect, and belong this summer!

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Fort Bend County Judge Bob Hebert. Bob was an icon in our community, giving his time and support to countless organizations and individuals. Any project in Fort Bend was stronger with his validation and backing.

He served as Honorary Chair of the Capital Campaign Committee for the new T.W. Davis Family YMCA, attending meetings and participating in strategy discussions, offering our colleagues invaluable insight and support along the way.

Bob was a man from days gone by—the kind of leader who gave his word and kept it, and who led with integrity and quiet conviction rather than volume. He was the ultimate servant to Fort Bend County and stood firm in the values of a true leader. His passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt across our community. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.

Behind every lap swam, every after-school snack, every Saturday morning soccer game, there is a child who has somewhere to be and a family that feels supported by the community that showed up.

Since 2022, the Related Affordable Foundation has made that possible. Because of them, a little girl spent her summer making friends at the pool.
