Gabby De La Rosa #31 is our first place overall winner of our innagural Habanero Hundred 135M with a finish time of 30:12:15! A stunning performance of 13:40/mile through 103degree bluebird skies and 7IL ranch sand.
11 years after Julie Schmal was the first and only to finish the 100M.

Volunteers.
We can’t say enough on how these incredible people are the glue to the trail running community! Packing ice bandanas, making famous Habanero gatoritas, grilling hot food all night long and keeping our runners encouraged - THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!

Still smiling and throwing a thumbs up out on the course. It takes full sun protection, steady hydration and a fiercely positive attitude to tackle these grassy trails and the sand in the heat.

It’s been a long day at the Habanero 100 🌶️ Miles have been logged, the heat has settled in, and there’s still a whole lot of racing left to go. We’re only getting started. 🔥

Zero clouds, max effort. The extreme heat today is no joke, but finding the grit to push through the 102+ degree Habanero Hundred course is inspirational.

The 10k run from the center of Bellville to 7IL Ranch!
Runners are now all on course at the ranch - 27 hours remain until the Sunday cutoff for all distances.
