The overhead squat is more than a mobility test. It’s a window into how the body moves as a system. River City Fit Jacob Keller

At Kinis.ai, we’re making this assessment more accessible by using AI-powered movement analysis to turn a simple overhead squat into clinically informed movement insight.

In seconds, coaches can gain a clearer understanding of mobility, alignment, stability, and movement control—from the shoulders and trunk to the hips, knees, and ankles.

The goal isn’t to replace the coach. It’s to give the coach better information.

Better insight leads to better conversations.
Better coaching.
Better programming.
And ultimately, better movement.

Because when you can better understand the body in motion, you can make more informed decisions about how to help it improve.

Absolutely. For the company Instagram page, I would make it shorter, more visual, and more brand-forward than the LinkedIn version while still reinforcing category creation.

Movement Health deserves its own intelligence layer.

We measure heart rate.
We measure sleep.
We measure recovery.

But how well we move remains one of the most important—and often overlooked—signals of long-term health.

At Kinis.ai, we are building a closed-loop Movement Intelligence ecosystem connecting:

Software intelligence to measure movement.
Hardware to understand movement over time.
AI to turn complex data into meaningful insight.
KinisCare™ to connect that insight with qualified human guidance.

The goal is simple:

Measure → Understand → Act → Improve → Retest

Because better data only matters when it leads to better decisions and better movement.

We believe the future of healthcare is moving from reactive care to proactive care—making Movement Health more accessible, affordable, and actionable for everyone.

This is bigger than an assessment.

This is Movement Intelligence.

AI measures. Humans guide. People move forward.

A simple single-leg stand test can reveal a lot about how well the body is functioning.

Balance, stability, control, and the ability to maintain position are fundamental parts of Movement Health—and they often begin changing long before someone experiences a fall, injury, or loss of independence.

That is the shift we are working toward at Kinis.ai:

From reactive care → proactive care.
From waiting for something to go wrong → understanding movement earlier.
From complex assessments → movement insights that are accessible, affordable, and actionable.

Our goal is to make Movement Health something people can measure, understand, and improve over time—whether they are at home, in a gym, or working with a healthcare professional.

Because the future of health isn’t only about living longer.

It’s about continuing to move well while we do it.

Behind every piece of technology we build are real people.

Real clinicians. Real engineers. Real conversations. Real questions. And a team deeply passionate about understanding human movement.

Most people see the technology — the AI, the assessments, the data, the software.

What they don’t always see is everything behind it.

The hours spent discussing movement science. Reviewing tests. Challenging assumptions. Testing ideas. Learning from clinicians. Watching how real people move. And continually asking one question:

How can we make movement health more measurable, understandable, and accessible?

This is the team behind Kinis.ai.

We believe technology should never remove the human from healthcare. It should give people and professionals better information to make better decisions.

We’re building with technology.

But we’re building for humans.

And we’re just getting started. 🧡

At Kinis.ai, our mission is simple:

Make Movement Health accessible, affordable, and actionable for everyone.

We believe better movement health should not depend on where you live, how much you earn, or whether you have easy access to traditional care.

By combining AI, computer vision, movement science, and human care, we’re building a new way for people to better understand how they move, identify potential issues earlier, and take meaningful action.

Because insight only matters when it helps people move better, live better, and stay healthier longer.

Accessible. Affordable. Actionable.
That’s the future we’re building. 🧡

What if a simple single-leg stand could reveal a movement deficiency before it becomes a bigger problem?

During this assessment with a gentleman over 60, we found that his single-leg standing time was approximately 30% below the benchmark for his age group.

That insight matters.

He may feel fine today. He may not consider himself at risk. But now we can identify an area of weakness, give him specific exercises to work on, and retest over time to see whether his movement health is improving.

This is exactly the shift we believe healthcare needs to make: from reactive care to proactive care.

The single-leg stand is simple, but balance is an important window into how well the body is functioning. When we can measure it, compare it against meaningful benchmarks, and translate that information into action, we create an opportunity for earlier intervention.

At Kinis.ai, our mission is to make Movement Health measurable and accessible—so people can understand how they move today and take action before a decline becomes an injury.

Measure early. Intervene early. Move better for longer.

What if movement health screening became as routine as checking blood pressure?

That is part of the future we are building at Kinis.

Here, our Director of Balance Health, Dr. Mary Bath, is working directly with clinicians and nurses to demonstrate how Kinis can be integrated into a real clinical environment to assess a patient’s balance, mobility, and overall movement health.

For adults 50 and older, we believe movement health deserves greater attention as part of the annual health conversation—not only after someone experiences a fall, injury, or loss of mobility, but earlier, when there is still an opportunity to intervene.

That is why we intentionally designed the Kinis assessment workflow to take approximately 5–8 minutes.

No complicated laboratory setup.
No specialized testing room.
A simple, interactive experience designed to fit within an existing clinical workflow while delivering meaningful information to both the clinician and the patient.

And the same philosophy extends beyond the clinic—to gyms, wellness centers, and eventually the home.

Our goal is simple:

Make movement health accessible. Make it measurable. Make it actionable.

Assess. Understand. Improve. Retest.

That is how we begin shifting healthcare from reacting to movement decline toward identifying it earlier and doing something about it.

The overhead squat is more than a movement test—it’s a window into how the body works as a system. Chad Blomquist, PT, DPT, OCS | Physical Therapy for Lifters

For physical therapists, it can serve as a powerful assessment layer to observe mobility, stability, coordination, and movement compensations across the ankles, knees, hips, trunk, and shoulders.

With Kinis, we’re working to make those observations more objective, measurable, and repeatable.

That gives clinicians another layer of movement intelligence to help them:

• Identify movement limitations and asymmetries
• Establish a measurable baseline
• Inform more targeted exercise and care plans
• Track progress over time
• Retest and show patients how their movement is changing

Technology isn’t replacing the physical therapist. It should make the clinician better informed.

Our goal is to give PTs better movement data so they can combine objective insight with their clinical expertise to deliver more personalized, proactive care.

Healthcare has traditionally been built around a reactive model: wait for pain, injury, or functional decline—then intervene.

At Kinis.ai, we believe there is a better path.

Our focus is using technology as a tool to help identify changes in movement health earlier, turn those signals into understandable insights, and connect people with the right intervention before a small limitation becomes a much bigger problem.

This becomes increasingly important as we age. For adults over 50, balance, strength, mobility, and stability can progressively decline—often before we recognize the change in everyday life.

That creates a powerful opportunity for prevention.

Assess at home. Understand your movement. Take action. Track progress. Retest.

Through KinisCare™, we’re building a more accessible model where technology helps measure movement and human expertise helps people improve it—with clinician-designed exercises and support that can reach people where they are.

The paradigm shift is simple:

From waiting for something to go wrong → to understanding your movement earlier and taking action sooner.

Better movement health. Greater independence. A stronger future.

This is what Movement Health™ looks like in the clinic.

Here, Dr. Ben from Bend Movement Physical Therapy Richmond VA is using Kinis.ai to perform a Single-Leg Stand assessment directly through an iPad, showing how easily the technology can be deployed in a real clinical environment.

The Single-Leg Stand is a simple but powerful tool during an initial assessment. It gives clinicians insight into balance, stability, asymmetry, and lower-body control—key signals that can help identify risk and guide the next step in care.

What I love is how practical this is: an iPad, a patient, and just a few minutes. No complicated setup. Just a streamlined way to bring objective movement assessment into everyday clinical workflow.

Our goal with Kinis.ai is to help clinicians assess, understand, and track movement health over time—making movement intelligence more accessible at the point of care.
