One thing a lot of new climbers get wrong: treating every climb the same. 🧗
Slab climbing like this requires completely different technique than overhang or crack climbing. Your weight distribution, footwork, and trust in your shoes all shift depending on the rock angle.

A full kit setup for backcountry or woodland training looks a lot different than a flat range setup. 🌲
Helmet, plate carrier, optic, sidearm, and a pack that can handle hours of movement in rough terrain. The biggest mistake people make when building a kit like this is prioritizing weight too late in the process. Every ounce adds up over distance.
