ATTENTION CAMPERS! We're excited to announce our very first Youth Baseball Skills and Technology Camp, taking place for players aged 7-13 from July 14-16 at the PH baseball field.

What makes this camp different?

✅ Traditional fundaments will be a large part of the experience, but players will also be given access to emerging technologies like DataMound, pitchLogic, Pocket Radar and Smart Scout.

✅ Older players (10+) will receive FREE DataMound scouting profiles

✅ ALL players will receive a FREE camp t-shirt (must register by 7/7)

✅ Additional emphasis on physical fitness, mental health, leadership, and character development.

✅ Hands on instruction from Patrick Henry Patriots baseball players and coaching staff

We are excited to work with our next generation of baseball players by not only providing them with the fundamental skills they need, but also focusing on the young adults they will become. Patriot baseball is about raising our next generation of leaders, community voices and family leaders.

We hope to see you there ... and please feel free to spread the word. This camp is open to interested players from any surrounding community. Thank you!

As we wrapped up the 2026 season this week, locker room cleanup day included the retirement of our concession stand grill (as it finally fell apart). On the front of the grill frame was a sticker honoring Kenneth “Gibby” Gibson of Christiansburg, VA who was killed in action in 2008 in Iraq.

It didn’t feel right to toss this part of the grill in the trash. Instead, we chose to do some research on Kenneth Gibson and had the team learn about his sacrifice. I did not realize at the time, but Gibby was connected to our PH family.

With this being Memorial Day weekend, it is important to look beyond the cookouts and merchandise sales and remember the fallen soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for all of us.

Thank you Gibby. We will continue to honor your memory.

And if you’re interested in learning more about him, here’s Gibby’s story that we found …

A Christiansburg, Virginia native, Gibby served with A Company, 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division “Tropic Lightning.”

He deployed to Iraq and operated in some of the most dangerous areas north of Baghdad during the war.

On August 10, 2008, while conducting patrol operations in Tarmiyah, Iraq, Sgt. Gibson was killed during a complex enemy attack involving an IED, su***de bomber, and small arms fire.

He was 25 years old.

But men like Gibby are not remembered only for how they died.

They are remembered for how they carried themselves:

• calm under pressure
• loyal to their brothers
• mission first
• no excuses
• standards matter
• protect the man beside you
• finish what you start

Respect to Sgt. Kenneth “Gibby” Gibson and the warriors of 1-14 Infantry.
