G.R.E.A.T. - Greater Rochester Eastern Area Tournament

GREAT bowlers all checks are in the mail. You should receive them in the next day or two. All results will be posted on the website by the end of the week.

Now that I have had time to relax and take a breather I would like to thank the GREAT committee for job well done. Jerry Rigby, Don Heinz, Marty Golub, Christina Johnson, Keith Granger, Kevin Ley, Samantha Johnson, Paul Scheib, Bill Roman, Gary Stirk, Joanne Mistler. We could not have done any of this without teamwork and one vision, which was the bowlers. This was a very complex theme and we pulled it off. From the emails to the hotel guests goody bags. Everything the bowlers experienced was a success. Next, thank you Rainbow Seniors Roc for all of your volunteers and busting your asses all weekend selling every ticket imaginable nonstop. Finally, most importantly, thank you to all of the bowlers for of your continuous support to make this tournament what it is. You make the sleepless nights and hard work worth it. Your generosity is truly felt by this community with over $12000 raised again this year. We are truly blessed to have such amazing friends to support what we do year in and year out. Now May you all have Happy Holidays!! See you April 30- May 1 2027 at ABC Gates Bowl.

I would like congratulate John Dury, Tim Yaeger, Nick Joss, and Andrew Jacobs on their 300 games here at GREAT. Also, Nicole O’Brien on her 299. Nice bowling. And still one more day to go. Will anybody else add to the list?

GREAT bowlers check the list for the raffle prizes left. Make sure to check your Rainbow tickets. DO NOT THROW THEM OUT IF YOU DID NOT WIN. Bring them to the banquet for $$$$ prizes.

Today is the day. Safe travels to all the GREAT bowlers coming in from out of town. Remember to dress warm there is a high of 49 degrees for the weekend. We cannot wait to see everyone for the festivities. You guys are hopefully in for a treat.
