🚨🚨405🚨🚨

This six weeks cycle we did adding in heavy dumbbells progressing each week has done some amazing things for my bench. We started with heavy triples six weeks ago and each week made progression going up 5 to 10 pounds last week. I hit 395 pounds for three reps, which was a personal best for me. I was not feeling the best going into it so I did some soul-searching this week. I sent my Lift off guy Paul a text message this week and told him my game plan for today.

My previously Best at 405 pounds was two reps last year and back in May I did 390 for two reps. This game is a huge mental battle every day waking up something new hurts something happened in life or a stressful event. There is no such thing as a perfect time a perfect opportunity. You just have to dive in and go all out and do whatever it takes….. this is the grind.

After I sent Paul Hutchison Paul Hutchison my that message my entire week was set on 405 for three. I had some sleepless nights some mental battles with myself always wondering what if and the battle of failure, which is not me at all but when you’re doing things you’ve never done before you have to surround yourself with people who believe in you who are gonna push you and who are gonna be by your side through this journey in the gym.

As always, I gotta give a shout out to my beautiful bride, who will always be by my side, no matter what the outcome is and I always wanna make her proud. ❤️ Kerianne Hicks
