The day before stormy weather is often a really good striped bass fishing day. Tuesday was that kind of day on Keeper Charters!

Herrington crew grinded it out this morning under pefect weather conditions, finally wrapping up with a couple of slot fish.
We saw hundreds of seals and caught dozens of mackerel and even a few squid.

Patience and lively macks saved the day!

Dave and Dylan grabbed one more fishing adventure before Dad Dan moves "Back to Ohio". Great weather and cooperative bass added to the morning.

Local boys crushed it on a 2 hour charter this week. But.....who was honking at speeding boaters while all this was happening?

Leftover lively macks from the morning trip and some crafty angling were the keys to this successful adventure. Thank you Gary for arranging your trip. You brought a good crew!

Lavoie's Crew crushed it this morning! Plenty of macks, a few squid, slot bass, and giant bass.

Today my customers spotted a gnarly seal pup way off the coast of Old Orchard Beach. We were fortunate to be able to photograph this scene.

This juvenile had apparently hijacked a boogie board from an unsuspecting tourist and made his way almost all the way back to his colony on Stratton Island off the coast of Scarborough.

There are currently hundreds of harbor seals in that colony, including dozens of pups. You never know what you'll see out on S**o Bay!

Don and his crew from Burlington, Vermont joined Keeper Charters this morning. The weather on S**o Bay was perfect. Calm seas and temps in the 70s. Patience and a little luck resulted in these hefty 33" and 39" bass.
