Modernizing an Obsolete Component

Today we replaced an original low-pressure control switch on a legacy heating system that’s been out of production for decades. The old unit finally reached the end of its life, and with no direct replacement available, simply swapping it out wasn’t an option.

To keep the system operational, we retrofitted a modern pressure switch and integrated it into the existing pneumatic controls. This meant adapting the original configuration to accept updated technology while preserving the system’s functionality, safety logic, and overall performance.

The result:
A reliable, stable, and serviceable setup that keeps this equipment running smoothly — extending the life of a system that still has plenty to offer.

And because we took the time to research, cross-reference, and engineer the correct solution, we were able to save the customer a significant amount of money by keeping the existing infrastructure in service rather than replacing major components.

Always a win to bring older equipment up to modern standards without compromising efficiency or costing the customer more than necessary.

Replaced a melted RV plug and a few other odd and ends today.
