ROYAL BATTALION! 📢
Attention, Cadets!
Only sophomores, juniors, and seniors will be taking the ASVAB examination on Tuesday, October 13.

If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior and have already earned a high ASVAB score, you do not need to retake the examination. Your most recent score is the one that counts, so retaking the test could potentially result in a lower score.

You should not assume that the highest score automatically counts or that the most recent score always replaces the previous one without checking the applicable rules.
For military enlistment, the official policy is to use the most recent valid ASVAB score, not automatically the highest score. A valid retest invalidates the previous results.
Example:
First test: 55
Retest: 48
Score used for enlistment: 48, assuming the retest is valid.

Please make sure you understand whether you are required to test and come prepared if you are on the ASVAB roster.

Have a great weekend,

CSM

ASVAB retest policy requires a one-month wait between administration of the initial ASVAB and a retest. To retake the ASVAB a second time, another one-month wait is required. For any additional retests, a six-month wait is required between retests. The retest policy is the same, regardless of whether...

Royal battalion,

Hope everyone had a great and fulfilled week this week. Just wanted to give you a quick update on the Royal battalion and to congratulate cadets of our battalion on a job well done this week. They have been participating in a promotion board for the majority of the week. This includes taking a written exam, uniform inspection on top of an oral board. Those who passed and receive a go for their promotion, Congratulations. Stay involved in program and continue doing the hard things to make yourself better mentally and physically. Great job.

Additionally, I want to give a quick shout out to our honor and colorguard in which they will be participating in the last home game of the football season tonight at 7:30. I am personally proud of you all four representing the Royal battalion with great pride. With that being said, for expectation management. PARENTS, with the national anthem starring at 7:30, the colorguard, and Sabre guard detail will present themselves during that time and again once the football team returns back onto the field after halftime. With all that being said, please expect your cadets to be finished with colorguard and honor guard duty between 8:30 and 9 PM. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate on reaching out to myself or CSM.

Just a couple things to look forward to happening for the Royal battalion in the upcoming weeks.

Are Raiders male and mixed team will be competing at Pinellas Park high school on Saturday, October 3. If you have some time to help support the royal battalion, please come out and cheer them on.

Hope everyone has a blessed and wonderful weekend. Great job again cadets of the Royal battalion and see you all Monday.
