Good morning, JCLC Cadets,
Friendly reminder:

*Report to the JROTC classroom on Monday, June 8, at 5:00 AM.* We still have several cadets who are missing required items, and those items must be packed before departure. The back gate by the bus circle/tennis courts will be open.

*Uniform for Travel:*

JCLC T-shirt (will be provided that morning)

Females: One-piece bathing suit underneath black shorts and T-shirt

Males: T-shirt and swimming trunks

Everyone: Tennis shoes with socks, one towel (we will pull one from your duffel bag), headgear, and CamelBak (provided by JROTC)

*Important Reminders:*

*Bring all missing items with you that morning*, including:

Feminine hygiene products

Deodorant and personal hygiene items

Crew or knee-high socks for boots

Extra tennis shoes

Shower shoes

Water shoes

Shaving supplies

Boots

Sunscreen

Bug spray

Flashlight

Any other required packing list items

Bring cash if you would like to purchase snacks.

*Male Cadets: Ensure you have a proper grooming-standard haircut.*

*Female Cadets: Bring all necessary items to put your hair in a ponytail and bun. Only natural hair and nail colors are authorized. No long artificial nails.*

It is highly recommended that you do not wear perfume or cologne. Insects are attracted to sweet scents. Deodorant is all you need.

Begin hydrating now and avoid soda. You can always tell which cadet ignored the hydration guidance—the white sweat stains on their T-shirt are a dead giveaway.

If you have any questions, contact ME immediately.

See you Monday morning!

CSM

To my Seniors and the best Drill Team in JROTC,

As this school year comes to an end, I want each and every one of you to know how proud I am of everything you have accomplished. You represented our JROTC program with discipline, pride, teamwork, and heart every single time you stepped onto the drill pad, into the classroom, or wore the uniform.

To my Seniors — thank you for your leadership, sacrifices, mentorship, and the legacy you leave behind. You helped shape this team into a family and set the standard for those who will follow after you. Watching each of you grow, overcome challenges, and support one another has meant more to me than I can truly put into words. You were not just leaders on the drill pad — you became people I genuinely looked up to and cared about deeply. I will carry the memories, laughs, struggles, and victories we shared long after this year ends in your footsteps. No trophy, ribbon, or competition result could ever fully measure the impact you made on this Battalion.

To the Drill Team — you proved what hard work, commitment, and unity can accomplish. Long practices, sweat, corrections, victories, and setbacks all built something special that nobody can ever take away from you. You earned respect through your actions and dedication.

Always remember:“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” — John C. Maxwell“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” — Winston ChurchillChampions are not remembered only for winning — they are remembered for their character, leadership, and the people they inspire along the way.“The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.” — Phil Jackson

Thank you for giving this program your best. I will always be proud to say I had the honor of leading and working alongside the best Drill Team and Staff in JROTC.

Carry the lessons, memories, and bonds you built here with pride wherever life takes you. Stay motivated, stay disciplined, and never forget that you are capable of achieving incredible things. No matter where your path leads, you will always have a family here cheering you on and believing in you every step of the way.
