I suspect that there were some cars racing that were too low. Several people could hear them scraping. I want to keep the track in nice shape for our club so I am reposting the club rules again and will be holding a tech check next race. If your car cannot pass tech check you will not race.

Rules as follows:
Slotcar group 10 rules for 2026
Body
1. Any scale 1/24 th Scale body allowed
2. No air cars allowed
3. Body has to resemble actual car
4. Body reinforcement may be added to sides underneath body
5. Rear spoiler my be added, no more than 1/2” above original body
6. No front diaplanes allowed, Lexan and tape under body is allowed
Chassis
1. Any Flexi chassis may be used, as long as it is a 4” design, and must have front wheels! No acceptions!!
2. Must be 3.250 wide 4” wheel base
3. Solder in or bolt in motors allowed
4. 2 piece or 3 piece chassis allowed, with minor mods for body mounting or suspension
5. Any guide flag and braids are allowed
6. Any axle is allowed as long as fronts are 1/16” or 3/32” axle and may be independent of each other and rear is either 3/32” or 1/8” are use
Motor
1. Jk 7 only! with ball bearings or
not
2. And gears! Any pitch allowed
Clearance
1. Chassis rear.032
Front .015 as long as front
